I've had my first successful event under my new name. I held a stall at a Mothers Day breakfast at Santa Scholastica School on Friday. Thanks to a soccer injury I was limping around, but I was kindly given some help from the students.
Much to my delight people loved the fair trade scarves I purchased in Vietnam and I only have two left!! They are beautiful handmade silk and linen scarves so its not surprising they sold so well. I love Santa Scholastica, it has a wonderful feel to it, an enthusiatic parent body, it is set in beautiful grounds and it has a fabulous, energetic and dedicated principal. I did well and managed to raise my first $85 for Blue Dragon. Not bad for one morning!
